Rick Mirabito of the 83rd district weighed in today on his opinions of the new legislation in Arizona.
It strikes me odd that Rick supports illegal immigration. He was vehemently against police being able to ask a citizen for his driver's license... However, I am unsure why. If the police pull you over in your car, you'll be asked for your driver's license - or if they suspect you being part of criminal activity they'll ask you for your ID. What's the big deal?
Dave Huffman seems to be on the side of the police and the new legislation. Go figure, the man is a true conservative. Most of the conservatives don't want any illegal immigration because the illegals vote in elections and vote for the Democratic candidates.
Who can blame them, all they want is a good life here in America.. I personally think the wealthy should pay for these poor downtrodden people. When Rick and I say wealthy, we mean people who own cars and make over $40,000 a year... Yes, if you make over 40 grand, you are indeed wealthy. Just look at the people in Thailand and vietnam - they make far less than 40 grand per year.
This is an issue that I cannot support Dave Huffman on - Pennsylvania needs more immigration. These people are only competing with the low skilled workers - so what if they can't pay taxes, we can afford to help them out.
Rick Mirabito also supports the Gay and lesbian community - although, sometimes I see him with some of those costituents - he is still mostly in the closet.

Dave Huffman 2010 83rd district PA
One thing I have to say is that Dave Huffman's website is pretty cool compared to Rick Mirabito's. Huffman's site is done in Flash and there is an amusing reference under the bottle graphic of the "stain free campaign" -namely the "Rick Cleaner"
You can check Dave Huffman's website out for yourself.: http://www.huffman2010.com
Dave appears sincere in his attempt to represent the 83rd district as the voice of the people. He might not own a house, but he has lived and employed in Williamsport for a long time.
I guess he puts his values and ideals ahead of himself quite a bit, otherwise he would have a show of more materialistic possesions. After all, he is all for eliminating property taxes - why would he want to own a house until that campaign promise is fulfilled? In a strange sort of way, I think I like Huffman. His door to door campaigning and actually taking time to talk to and shake people's hands is a true grass roots effort with the rewards of hard work and a mind to serve the public.
I was told that he was a school teacher (substitute) and that got me to thinking - " who would I trust with my wallet if I had to leave it with someone? A Teacher? A Lawyer? or An Insurance salesman? In all honesty, the lawyer (Rick Mirabito's profession) and the Insurance Salesman (Steve Cappelli's profession) would be my last on my list.
Good luck Dave.

Rick Mirabito 2010 Democratic Tea Party Candidate
Yes ... I often ramble on about sports and music, but now lets talk about the state of Pennsylvania and its massive budget. Just one part of the budget that is huge is support for the prison systems. In 2007 one in 28 adults were in prision in Pennsylvania.
Potential proposals:
#1. Tough labor for all prisioners - it doesn't matter what kind of crime that was committed. Since the are all "wards of the state", make them work building roads by hand and plant and harvest crops. (this will be a two fold solution) The prisoners will effectively earn their keep, and it will remove the need for expensive gymnasiums and other prisoner activities as well.
#2. Prison should be less glamourized and true punishment should occur.
#3. Physical "punishment" should be permitted to "calm" over angry prisoners.

Just my thoughts for the day...

Apologies to Dave Huffman for 2008 character assasination
Hi - Nick here.. I just wanted to take the opportunity to apologize to Dave Huffman for the horrible things I said on my other blog. I was hired by Rick Mirabito and the Democratic Party to blog about Rick Mirabito. My job was to assasinate Mr. Huffman's personal character, since he seemed to be a candidate that was impeccable and tough to beat.
You see, I've recently found Christ and the bible commands that I am supposed to right things that I've wronged, so here is my attempt at my apology in detail:
I Nick Falvo (of Williamsport) apologize for :
#1. I stated that Dave was a drunkard. This was not true at all but had good effect on character assasination. On the other hand, I have seen Rick Mirabito loaded several times.
#2. I stated that Dave had abused his wife. This was a complete fabrication from a document that was purged from the records of the court. Rick Mirabito found this purged document and we figured we could get some mileage out of it. It worked in the end as a character snipe.
#3. I mentioned that he had intimidated Penn college students. This was another fabrication we got some mileage out of.
I'm truly sorry Dave.
I will make an attempt to let you know the real Mirabito - as I have discovered over the last 2 years.
